Aero Wool System

The most breathable and non-combustible insulation

An advanced insulation system, providing the most breathable insulation with the highest fire resistance rating. The façade will be highly vapour-permeable and resistant to biological contamination. Particularly recommended for high-rise buildings and those where the highest class of fire resistance is required (public buildings) and buildings located near forests, parks and wet areas with a high risk of biological contamination by algae and fungi.

Approvals: ETA 09/0026 dated 30/06/2023.

System components:

Fixing: Ceresit CT 180 MW Strong Fix Adhesive Mortar for mineral wool or Ceresit CT 190 MW Flex Adhesive and Reinforcing Mortar for mineral wool, steel core anchors classified according to ETAG 014 requirements, the number of fasteners and their distribution should be determined by the architect, based on the substrate analysis and load calculations.

Insulating material: Mineral wool slabs or laths classified in accordance with EN 13162,
up to 36 cm thick.

3. reinforced layer: Ceresit CT 190 MW Flex Adhesive and Reinforcing Mortar for Mineral Wool and Ceresit CT 325 Glass Fibre Mesh.

4. priming paint*: Ceresit CT 15 Priming paint.

5. plaster*: Ceresit CT 72, CT 73 Aero silicate plaster.

6. paint: Ceresit CT 54 Silicate Aero silicate paint.

* Ceresit alternative plasters: CT 35, CT 137 Mineral. Dry mineral plasters with CT 16 primer.
